Director of Nursing

About the role

The Director of Nursing oversees the delivery of all resident care at Arbor Terrace Acworth, an award-winning Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Acworth, GA. The role focuses on care management, medication management, risk management, and quality assurance, as well as staff management. This position directly supervises, motivates, and encourages all resident care staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of all resident care
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and corporate expectations and guidelines
• Tailor care delivery to fit each resident and reflect best practices for those served
• Focus on care management, medication management, risk management, and quality assurance
• Directly supervise, motivate, and encourage resident care staff
• Lead by example with unwavering customer service demonstrated through healthy and thriving resident and family relationships

Requirements

• A compassionate and caring style with a professional nursing license in good standing in the state of GA
• Three years of management experience preferred
• Experience caring for residents with dementia preferred
• Experience working in an assisted living/personal care setting strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of GA
