Director of Nursing

Job Summary

The Director of Nursing at NVISION® Eye Centers is responsible for leading clinical operations within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role oversees and coordinates all aspects of perioperative patient care, including pre-operative, intra-operative, post-anesthesia care (PACU), and sterile processing (SPD).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all perioperative services (pre-op, intra-op, PACU, SPD)
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence
• Provide direct patient care as needed across perioperative settings
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient data and medical records
• Partner with physicians, patients, and families to support optimal care outcomes
• Lead daily operations of the surgery center, including staffing, workflow, and patient throughput
• Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff
• Develop and manage departmental budgets
• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Support marketing initiatives through high-quality service delivery and physician partnerships

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school, college, or university of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (State Board of Nursing)
• Minimum 5+ years of nursing experience, in perioperative or ASC settings
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD $125,000.00/Yr. to USD $145,000.00/Yr.
