Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinical Director on medical and psychiatric nursing referrals, intakes, and transitions for program participants.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff in making medical and psychiatric decisions, provide ongoing consultation, education, and training.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Accreditation regulations, licensing, and certification requirements.
- Engage in direct medical and psychiatric nursing care, conduct nursing assessments, document medical information, and administer medications.
- Serve as a liaison between on-site nurses and program directors and other administrative team members.
- Become certified as a “Nurse Trainer” and travel throughout New Hampshire to provide training.
- Occasionally handle on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Registered Nurse license in the State of New Hampshire.
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) preferred.
- Prior experience working with the program population and supervising nursing staff.
