Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Nursing Department.
- Ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality, person-centered care.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
- Recruit, mentor, educate, and retain a strong nursing team.
- Participate in care planning, quality assurance, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds and provide coaching and support to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and department leaders to promote exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Support facility goals through effective leadership and sound clinical decision-making.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical best practices.
- A passion for serving seniors and building strong, engaged teams.
