Director of Nursing

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Director of Nursing (DON) at Garden Spring Rehab and Care Center in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing staff provides quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards.
• Lead and/or participate in Quality Improvement (QI) groups and other multidisciplinary meetings.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, providing orientation/training, and retaining a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out nursing services.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year professional nursing experience in a long‑term care setting.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Director of Nursing.
• Working knowledge and ability to apply standards of professional nursing practice in job situations.
• Ability to develop nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and facility philosophy of care.
