Director of Nursing

Job Summary

At Focus Health Network, LLC, we strive to deliver exceptional care to our residents, and we're seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to all residents in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the nursing staff
• Ensures the nursing department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures when necessary or as directed
• Responsible for providing consistent and sufficient staffing for resident needs as well as regulatory requirements
• Participates in federal, state, and local agency annual surveys
• Reviews with appropriate department heads any deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections
• Responsible for operating the Nursing Department within budgetary guidelines and limitations
• Completes annual performance reviews of all subordinate staff, provides guidance and education, and takes disciplinary action as needed
• Oversees the continued training and education of all nursing personnel
• Maintains infection control and standard precaution practices and reports hazardous conditions and supply issues

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• CURRENT State License as Registered Nurse
• C.P.R. Certified
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
