Director of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality clinical outcomes and customer service
• Manage regulatory compliance and attract top talent
• Supervise and coach nursing staff
• Lead the care-giving team and reflect core values in staff behavior
• Implement patient/resident care planning process
• Support departmental practices and standards
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and the community
• Provide excellent customer service
• Use superior computer skills and learn new systems
• Understand reimbursement regulations and nursing practices
• Comply with policies and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations
• React appropriately to emergency situations

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in long-term care
• Stable work history and dedication to leading the healthcare team
• RN license in state of residency, BSN preferred
• Positive relationships with residents and staff
• Excellent customer service skills
• Superior computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices
• Ability to comply with policies and adhere to regulations
• Able to react to emergencies appropriately
