The Director of Nursing (DON) at Emerald Nursing & Rehab – Columbus leads the clinical team and drives excellence in resident-centered care. This role requires strategic leadership, a focus on quality care, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all nursing services and clinical operations.
• Champion a culture of excellence focused on quality resident care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain a strong, engaged nursing team.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and professional growth among staff.
• Drive clinical outcomes through quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional resident experiences.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Promote a positive workplace culture built on respect, communication, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A current RN license in the State of Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure).
• Previous leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing clinical teams and improving quality outcomes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
