What You’ll Do
- Clinical Oversight
- Conduct client assessments and reassessments
- Develop and oversee plans of care
- Perform supervisory visits and clinical documentation
- Provide guidance during changes in condition or care concerns
- Caregiver Training & Support
- Conduct CHHA competency evaluations
- Lead the clinical portion of caregiver orientation
- Support and mentor caregivers in the field
- Community Education & Outreach
- Participate in lunch-and-learns, wellness talks, and community events
- Help educate families and referral partners on aging, dementia care, fall prevention, and aging in place
What We’re Looking For
- Active NJ RN license in good standing
- Experience in home care, geriatrics, hospice, rehabilitation, or case management preferred
- Comfortable with public speaking and presentations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and relationship-oriented
- Reliable transportation for local travel
Compensation Structure
- $250/month Director of Nursing retainer
- $65/hour for clinical work performed, including:
- Client assessments
- Supervisory visits
- CHHA competency evaluations
- Orientation and training
- Community presentations
- Clinical oversight activities
Expected workload
Initially, the expected workload is approximately up to 30 hours per month, with potential for growth as the agency expands.
