Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous nursing management experience required
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Drug screen and background check required

Essential Job Functions

• Direct and oversee all nursing operations within the facility
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality resident care
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and assist with workforce development
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Oversee infection prevention and control practices
• Prepare for and participate in state surveys and inspections
• Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, and resident-centered care
