Director of Nursing
Job Summary
The Director of Nursing (DON) – Outpatient provides clinical leadership and oversight for nursing practice across various behavioral health clinics, SMI Clinics, Patient Centered Medical Homes (PCMH), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs), and FACT/ACT teams. This role ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant nursing care across geographically dispersed sites throughout Arizona. The DON collaborates with compliance, quality, and operational leaders to strengthen clinical standards, improve outcomes, and drive performance improvement.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school required.
- Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MPH, or related) preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership experience in behavioral health, addictions, community-based care, or integrated care.
- Experience With OTP Regulatory Requirements Required.
- Strong knowledge of medication management standards and med-room operations required.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Arizona required.
- Experience With NextGen Preferred.
- Experience With ACT/FACT, SMI Clinics, or PCMH models preferred.
- Valid Arizona (or Compact) Board of Nursing (current and in good standing).
- Current driver’s license (valid and in good standing).
- Clear 39-month motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check required.
