Director Of Nursing

About the role

We are hiring for Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations for a growing oncology and clinical research practice. This role will oversee clinic nurses, infusion nurses, nurse navigators, referral intake staff, and schedulers while helping launch and grow a new site. This is a permanent, fully onsite position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The position is anticipated to close on Sep 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations and clinical staff.
• Provide mentorship, training, and performance management for nursing teams.
• Support site startup, workflow development, and operational growth.
• Perform infusions and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to SOPs.
• Collaborate with clinical research, regulatory, quality, pharmacy, and operations teams.
• Support patient enrollment growth, referral management, and care coordination.
• Drive process improvements and maintain efficient clinical workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of oncology and infusion nursing experience
• 3+ years of nursing leadership/team management experience
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification
• Active Pennsylvania RN License
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Infusion therapy and vascular access (IV placement) expertise
• Clinical research experience
• Knowledge of GCP, GDPR, and U.S./European clinical research regulations
• Experience with CTMS, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office
• Nurse navigation and referral management experience
• Process improvement experience

Pay

The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
