Director of Nursing - Assisi Heights
About the role
Assisi Heights is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing management experience
- Experience in healthcare administration or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
