Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Direct all nursing activities across licensed residential sites, ensuring consistent high-quality care and documentation standards.
- Serve as the expert on California Title 22 residential regulations and accreditation standards (Joint Commission/CARF), leading all survey readiness and compliance audits.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, including Nurse Managers, RNs, LVNs, and Patient Care Assistants, focusing on performance management and professional growth.
- Act as the vital link between nursing, medical providers, and executive leadership to optimize clinical workflows and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Manage complex medication systems, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives to reduce clinical risk.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Residential Expertise: Direct experience working in a residential treatment setting is strictly required.
- Clinical Experience: At least five (5) years of RN experience; a background in behavioral health, psychiatry, or eating disorders is highly preferred.
- Leadership Track Record: Previous supervisory or management experience in a residential or healthcare environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and California Title 22 residential treatment regulations.
- Availability: Must have the flexibility to support 24-hour facility needs and provide leadership during urgent clinical matters.
Work Environment & Physical Needs
Requires a consistent on-site presence across two licensed residential locations. Involves typical administrative tasks, frequent communication, and occasional physical requirements such as standing, walking, or lifting up to 25 pounds. Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials consistent with a healthcare setting.
