About the role
The Director will plan music for all liturgies, serve as the principal accompanist for three weekend Masses and all Holy Day Masses and special services, and build up the Ministry by recruiting and training cantors, adult and children choir members.
Responsibilities
- Plan music for all liturgies
- Serve as principal accompanist for three weekend Masses and all Holy Day Masses and special services
- Recruit and train cantors, adult and children choir members
- Incorporate both Latin and English into appropriate Masses using Gregorian Ordinaries liturgies
- Plan traditional hymnody as well as contemporary music styles when fitting the Mass
Qualifications
- Great proficiency in playing the organ and piano
- Experience in cantor coaching and choral conducting
- Understanding of the Liturgy
- Undergraduate degree
- 2–5 years of relevant experience

Pay
Hourly rate: $35.00 to $40.00; annual salary range: $52,400 to $62,400.
