About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Mental Health Services to join our team in the Health and Safety field. This critical role will be responsible for developing and implementing mental health programs for our employees. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique stressors and challenges faced by individuals in the construction industry and will be able to tailor mental health services to meet these specific needs. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive mental health programs tailored to the needs of employees in the construction industry
- Conduct regular assessments to identify the mental health needs of our employees and develop strategies to address these needs
- Provide individual and group counseling services, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with management, HR, and other key stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and education
- Oversee the work of mental health professionals within the organization, providing guidance and supervision as needed
- Ensure that all mental health services and programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of mental health programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with external mental health providers and community resources
- Provide training to staff and management on mental health issues, stress management, and self-care
- Advocate for the mental health needs of our employees at all levels of the organization
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHCE)
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the mental health field, with a focus on program development and management
- Previous experience in the construction industry or a similar high-stress industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective mental health programs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team of mental health professionals
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex mental health concepts to a wide range of audiences
- Deep understanding of the mental health challenges faced by individuals in the construction industry
- Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to mental health services
- Commitment to promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma within the workplace
Pay
$120,000 - $170,000 per year
