Director of Mental Behavioral Health and Med Management Pocatello

One Love Agency has served Idaho families for over fifteen years, walking with them through crisis, addiction recovery, and resettlement. About the role

You will lead our Pocatello office, overseeing the refugee program, general behavioral health services, Medication Management, administrative operations, compliance, and reporting. This role involves hiring, training, and developing staff while serving as the face of One Love Agency in the valley. If you hold a master's-level license, you’ll also carry a therapy caseload, as we believe leaders should remain connected to direct client work.

We’re seeking a leader who will build client census, develop staff, and strengthen community partnerships—someone who says, “I’ve got this,” and delivers. This is not a caretaker role; it’s an opportunity to grow what’s already here and reach families we haven’t yet served.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop clinical and administrative staff.
• Train providers on documentation, treatment planning, and compliance (notes, CDAs, IDAPA standards, payer requirements).
• Manage office operations: Intake, scheduling, benefit verification, records, staffing coverage, and caseload assignment—ensuring a seamless workflow from first contact to billing.
• Maintain compliance and reporting: Uphold documentation integrity, audit readiness, and timely internal/payer reporting.
• Drive growth: Expand client census across refugee and general behavioral health services by opening and strengthening referral pathways.
• Build relationships: Engage directly with clients, families, and community referral partners. Provide direct clinical services if licensed at the master’s level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or a related field (master’s with Idaho licensure—LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT—preferred and opens clinical opportunities).
• Hands-on experience in mental/behavioral health and medication management, with a practical understanding of referrals, payers, authorizations, and census growth.
• Established presence in the Pocatello community, respected within mental/behavioral health and medication management circles.
• Genuine commitment to serving clients and families, with the backbone to uphold compliance while maintaining strong relationships.
• Leadership instinct: Focus on developing people, not just managing them.
• Bilingual/multilingual ability is a plus but not required.
• Must pass a criminal history background check (Idaho requirements) and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule

Full-time, hourly, on-site in Pocatello. Monday through Friday.
