Director of Membership, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
About the role
This one is designed to uphold standards. Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. Students consistently outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons shift to deeper learning, independence, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends on enrolling the right families. That's your responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning initial contact to onboarding completion.
- Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to evaluate fit prior to proposing solutions or advising on next steps.
- Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment phases, maintaining transparent status tracking and follow-up protocols.
- Directing campus tours, shadow visits, and decision-making conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the model's ideal participant profile.
- Ensuring accurate CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand credibility (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, elite membership, or owner-managed services).
- Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through onboarding.
- Experience managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships concurrently across different stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
- Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your offering when alignment was absent.
- Professional written communication experience with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Malibu, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Santa Barbara, CA.
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience with selective private school admissions or competitive program enrollment processes.
- Background in high-end hospitality, VIP guest relations, or executive-level support positions.
- Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
- Proficiency leveraging data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality rather than merely speed.
