Position Overview

This role blends revenue growth leadership, strategic vision, and team development to position Mills James for continued success in a rapidly changing media landscape. You will focus on:

  • Expanding our client base and uncovering new opportunities

  • Leading and developing our postproduction team to deliver exceptional results

What You’ll Do

Drive Business Growth and New Opportunities

  • Identify, pursue, and help close new client relationships across industries
  • Partner with sales to grow existing accounts and win new business
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on media strategy and content solutions
  • Lead and contribute to pitches, proposals, and high-impact presentations
  • Translate market trends into profitable service offerings
  • Position Mills James as a leader in a rapidly evolving production landscape

Lead Strategic Vision and Innovation

  • Anticipate emerging client needs across platforms, formats, and industries
  • Help define and evolve Mills James’ service offerings for long-term growth
  • Identify how AI and emerging technologies can create new revenue streams
  • Contribute to companywide strategic direction in content, postproduction, and digital delivery
  • Align team capabilities with future-focused service offerings

Champion a Culture of Collaboration, Accountability, and Creative Excellence

  • Expand live event expertise into scalable digital and hybrid content solutions
  • Collaborate across the organization with sales, creative, production, and executive teams
  • Turn client opportunities into scalable, high-quality deliverables
  • Support the integration of traditional workflows with AI-enhanced processes

What You Bring

  • 35 years of experience in: Advertising agency business development and strategy OR Marketing leadership within a medium to large organization
  • A strong understanding of content, media production, and evolving digital platforms
  • Proven ability to drive growth and build client relationships
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and emerging technology
  • Experience collaborating across creative, production, and sales teams
  • A leadership style that inspires teams and drives performance
