Responsibilities

• Assume 24-hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions within the medical/surgical/telemetry unit(s).
• Supervise, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of patient care.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate all personnel assigned to the unit, utilizing nursing personnel and time effectively.
• Consult and communicate with staff, physicians, and administration on nursing issues and hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
• Assume house supervisory responsibilities as assigned, including responding to codes, assessing and charting, and ensuring appropriate documentation.
• Oversee the provision of patient care for adolescent, adult, and older adult patients.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state registered nurse license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Critical Care RN (CCRN) or Medical Surgical Certified (ANA) certificate(s) preferred.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting preferred.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current (Facility Specific).

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $109,428.80 to $147,284.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
