Director of Med Surg, ICU, Dialysis

The Director of Med/Surg, ICU, and Dialysis is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and operational management of the Medical-Surgical, Intensive Care, and Dialysis departments. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Strong clinical leadership experience in acute care settings, including critical care and dialysis services
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university
• Required: Current Illinois Nursing License
• Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
• Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) within 1 month of hire date and ongoing competency in restraint, seclusion, and take downs
• Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience
• Previous leadership experience as Director or manager
