Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a culturally responsive vision for math and science education
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish enabling systems for the vision
  • Monitor and lead the creation of regional curricula and assessments
  • Conduct observations and workshops to drive instructional improvements
  • Plan and execute professional development sessions for teachers
  • Analyze student data to inform instructional strategies
  • Coach teachers and develop instructional practices across schools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • 4-5 years of math and/or science teaching experience, with active CA credential or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in a school setting
  • Deep understanding of best practices in math and science education
  • Experience in driving outcomes for diverse student populations
  • Strong project management skills
