About the role

The Master of Science in Marketing Program is seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for both the in-person and online graduate programs. As a key leader within the nationally recognized Department of Marketing at Mays Business School, this role is responsible for recruiting and retaining high-potential students and strengthening the program’s reputation.

The ideal candidate brings experience building and growing successful graduate programs, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills. The Director will lead day-to-day program operations, collaborate with faculty and stakeholders, and serve as a trusted resource for current and prospective students.

Responsibilities

The Director will be responsible for program planning, including planning and executing curricular and co-curricular activities, and will engage with industry and program partners to create educational and employment opportunities for students.

  • Oversees student enrollment, course scheduling, and program evaluation
  • Works with faculty to design and update curriculum for both in-person and online programs
  • Implements mechanisms to ensure the quality of education in both in-person and online formats
  • Manages budgets for both in-person and online programs, including allocating resources effectively and identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures
  • Monitors trends in higher education, online learning, and relevant industries to identify opportunities for program enhancement and innovation
  • Supervises program staff to achieve the goals of the unit and mission of the department

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ten years of related experience in management, graduate degree program administration, board management, or higher education.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding

Pay

Salary: $100,000 - $109,000/annually (Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience). Proposed Minimum Salary $8,333.34 monthly
