What This Looks Like Day To Day

  • Brand Strategy & Leadership
    • Own and evolve the Edibles.com brand strategy, ensuring a consistent, compelling, and compliant brand voice across all consumer touchpoints
    • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that drive brand awareness, consumer education, acquisition, and long-term loyalty
    • Serve as the internal brand steward, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across ecommerce, retail, product, and operations
    • Stay ahead of cultural, category, and competitive trends to identify opportunities that keep the brand relevant and differentiated in the hemp-derived wellness space
    • Translate business objectives into clear, insight-driven marketing strategies with measurable outcomes
    • Understand the nuances of the controlled substances category and associated marketing-related compliance restrictions
  • Agency & Partner Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and day-to-day lead for all external agency and vendor relationships, including creative, ecommerce, paid media, and public relations partners
    • Set clear briefs, timelines, and performance expectations for agency partners, ensuring work is on strategy, on brand, and delivered with excellence
    • Manage agency scopes of work, budgets, and contracts in close partnership with the EVP and legal teams
    • Evaluate agency performance regularly and make recommendations on partner mix as business needs evolve
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, co-marketing collaborators, and key industry stakeholders
  • Channel & Campaign Execution
    • Lead the development and execution of omni-channel campaigns spanning paid media, organic social, email, SMS, influencer, and PR
    • Oversee the e-commerce marketing strategy, partnering closely with operations and e-commerce teams to drive traffic, conversion, and average order value
    • Guide the social media and content strategy, ensuring a native, engaged audience is built across key platforms
    • Oversee public relations strategy and execution in partnership with PR agency partners, including media outreach, brand storytelling, and crisis communications
    • Align marketing activations with product launch calendars, promotional events, and retail expansion initiatives
  • Performance & Insights
    • Define and own key marketing KPIs, building a culture of measurement, accountability, and continuous optimization
    • Lead regular marketing reporting and strategic reviews with the EVP and senior leadership, translating data into clear insights and action
    • Partner with operations and ecommerce teams to connect marketing performance to broader business outcomes, including revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value
    • Leverage consumer research, market data, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and investment decisions
  • Team & Culture
    • Manage, mentor, and develop the internal marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, creativity, and high performance
    • Identify capability gaps and make hiring and resourcing recommendations to leadership
    • Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial team culture that values innovation, speed, and executional excellence

    What You Bring

    • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
    • Proven track record of building and scaling consumer brands across omni-channel marketing environments, ideally within ecommerce, CPG, wellness, or a regulated industry
    • Deep experience managing external agency relationships across creative, media, ecommerce, and/or public relations disciplines
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand strategy informed by consumer insights, market data, and competitive analysis
    • Strong analytical capabilities with experience setting KPIs, building dashboards, and translating performance data into strategic recommendations
    • Experience working in or alongside regulated industries (e.g., cannabis/hemp, alcohol, supplements) strongly preferred
    • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment that requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to wear multiple hats
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing , Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus
