Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Create and maintain organizational relationships with local and regional media.
- Serve as the media contact for PossAbilities and coordinate all media requests.
- Initiate media events and create press releases per marketing plan and as the situation arises.
- Develop, implement, and manage external communications with clients, parents/guardians, stakeholders, businesses, donors and community members.
- Plan and implement all fundraising and community engagement events.
- Plan and assist with tours and other educational and marketing activities.
- Represent PossAbilities at community fairs and business events that present networking and marketing opportunities.
- Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
- Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
- Identifies new market segments that will benefit from PossAbilities services.
- Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
- Maintains knowledge on industry services and innovation.
- Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
- Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
