Director of Manufacturing

Overview

A growing, high-performance manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead production across multiple semi-custom builds in a technically complex environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in composite-based manufacturing and the ability to drive execution, efficiency, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production across multiple high-performance, semi-custom builds
• Manage labor, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet timelines and improve efficiency
• Oversee shop floor operations, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards
• Partner with executive leadership to execute production strategy and scale operations
• Drive continuous improvement across planning, processes, and overall manufacturing execution

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in semi-custom manufacturing (marine, aerospace, or similar)
• Strong, hands-on experience working with composite materials
• Proven ability to lead and develop production / shop floor teams
• Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and multi-build environments
