Director Of Major Gifts

About the Role

The Director of Major Gifts is part of LifeBridge Health's Development Office, supporting development for key service lines, including all fundraising aspects for Oncology, Rehabilitation, Cardiology, and Surgery. This role is responsible for building and managing a portfolio of approximately 120 prospects, with a focus on closing five, six, and seven-figure gifts. The position emphasizes increasing support from grateful patients and reports to the AVP Development for LifeBridge Health.

Responsibilities

• Move prospects through the stages of the philanthropic process (moves management) with a strong metrics focus.
• Build and maintain a fluid pipeline of 150 major gift prospects while regularly closing gifts.
• Work in Raiser's Edge to capture prospect and donor information and activity.
• Engage with physicians and clinicians to identify grateful patients and families, qualify them for capacity and interest, and integrate them into the major gift pipeline.
• Facilitate long-term philanthropic relationships with grateful patients and families, involving clinicians in appropriate steps.
• Build strong working relationships with clinicians.
• Manage system-wide clinical service lines, capital campaigns, and major gifts initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-7 years of healthcare fundraising and development experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CFRE certification preferred.
