Maintenance Director Welcome to St. Martha Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare! Our 120-bed facility provides a warm and caring environment for short-term rehab patients, and long- term residents including memory care. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care to each resident. We are looking for a Director of Maintenance to oversee our Maintenance Department Responsibilities Of Maintenance Director Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnelPlan, develop, organize, and direct the Maintenance DepartmentMonitors the performance of maintenance staff by observing staff on all units, on all shifts and interviewing facility staff, residents, and families. Performs quality assurance functions, including regular compliance rounds.Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the facility policiesDevelop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.Assist the maintenance staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies, etc.Review the department’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., at least annually for revisions and make recommendations to the Administrator.Coordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.)Coordinating department operations, budgets and monitoring expendituresEnsure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standardsMust have ability to be “on call” for emergency situationsProvide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashionMaintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspections Qualifications Of Maintenance Director 5 years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenancePrior supervisory experience in healthcare maintenance settingMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situationsEvidence of solid leadership and supervision skillsKnowledge of Fire and Life SafetyValid driver's licenseSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office Maintenance Director Benefits offered including Vacation PTO 401K Health Insurance Dental Vision Equal Opportunity Employer IND123
