Director of Maintenance

Position Overview

Specific Duties

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards.
• Minimizes exposure and risk on project.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Utilizes management and interpersonal skills for professional conduct.
• Successfully manages a moderate to heavy workload of projects requiring technical and practical knowledge.
• Establishes standards on projects.
• Captures project scope definitions.
• Provides code compliance reviews, reports, and recommendations for existing conditions and products in the company.
• Aids in the preparation of materials for submission to all governmental agencies or governing boards.
• Ensures safety and accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned, such as some duties of maintenance supervision.

• Education and/or Experience : High School diploma or GED with experience in related field preferred in a high-volume manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience and strong commitment to meeting internal customer requirements and continuous improvement objectives.
• Languages: Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from personnel inside the company.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or other form.
