Director of Maintenance

About the role

Executive Search Network/Platinum Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee all maintenance department operations and personnel, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all maintenance department operations and personnel
• Regular inspections of the facility, including safety, upkeep, appearance, and equipment performance
• Supervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedules
• Schedule and ensure completion of all maintenance and repairs
• Provide oversight of maintenance/repairs and ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashion
• Maintain records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections
• Coordinate department operations, budgets, and monitoring expenditures
• Ensure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal and OSHA standards
• Must have the ability to be "on-call" for emergency situations

Requirements

• MUST HAVE NURSING HOME OR HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Prior supervisory experience in a Healthcare maintenance setting
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality service
• Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to multi-task, stay on task, and maintain focus in stressful situations
• Evidence of solid leadership and supervision skills

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Up to $100,000 annually
