Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Director of Maintenance leads all facility maintenance operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and fully operational environment that supports high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and facility systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and facility standards.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality completion of work.
- Maintain and monitor critical facility systems, including boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are consistently met.
- Interpret and utilize blueprints, technical manuals, and system documentation to support maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to ensure resident safety and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a maintenance role.
- Nursing home or healthcare facility experience required.
- HVAC certification strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and system schematics.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards required.
- Must be licensed or certified in accordance with applicable state and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.

Pay
Pay rate: $25–$34/hour (all inclusive). No Frills Program for Full-Time Employees: If you opt for no benefits (no vacation, sick time, personal days, or holidays), you'll earn an additional $3/hour on top of your base pay.
