The Director of Litigation plays a crucial role in advancing the organization’s mission through strategic legal advocacy and policy reform efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with organizational goals
- Advocate for policy changes at local, state, and federal levels
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective cross-functional support
- Manage case teams and oversee all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and emerging trends
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum 7 years of experience in litigation or related field
- Proven track record of success in high-stakes legal matters
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
Qualifications
