About the role

The Director of Litigation plays a crucial role in advancing the organization’s mission through strategic legal advocacy and policy reform efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Advocate for policy changes at local, state, and federal levels
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective cross-functional support
  • Manage case teams and oversee all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and emerging trends

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in litigation or related field
  • Proven track record of success in high-stakes legal matters
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
