Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs tailored to the property industry.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company remains in full compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Provide guidance to senior leadership on compliance-related matters.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Oversee training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
Requirements
- Achieved LIHTC and Section 8 Affordable Housing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to the property industry.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills to manage compliance programs effectively.
- Prioritization of collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting compliance updates and reports.
- Analytical skills to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in property management or compliance roles.
- Proven track record in managing complex compliance programs.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
