Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs tailored to the property industry.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the company remains in full compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide guidance to senior leadership on compliance-related matters.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.

Requirements

  • Achieved LIHTC and Section 8 Affordable Housing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to the property industry.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills to manage compliance programs effectively.
  • Prioritization of collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting compliance updates and reports.
  • Analytical skills to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in property management or compliance roles.
  • Proven track record in managing complex compliance programs.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
