Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an overarching learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs for employees at all levels.
- Manage the implementation and utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure effective learning experiences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and gaps in existing programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Develop a budget for learning and development initiatives and manage expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Stay current with trends and advancements in the field of learning and development, including technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Partner with HR and management to develop succession planning and leadership development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a learning and development role, preferably in the healthcare or non-profit sector.
- Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including implementation and management.
- Extensive knowledge of instructional design theories and learning principles.
- Experience in adult education and designing training programs for diverse audiences.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with e-learning platforms.
- Certification in training (such as CPLP) is a plus.
