Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an overarching learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Design, develop, and deliver high-impact training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Manage the implementation and utilization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure effective learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and gaps in existing programs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
  • Develop a budget for learning and development initiatives and manage expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay current with trends and advancements in the field of learning and development, including technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Partner with HR and management to develop succession planning and leadership development programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a learning and development role, preferably in the healthcare or non-profit sector.
  • Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including implementation and management.
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theories and learning principles.
  • Experience in adult education and designing training programs for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with e-learning platforms.
  • Certification in training (such as CPLP) is a plus.

Pay
