Director of Learn to Skate Program

About the role

The Director of Learn to Skate Program oversees all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, instructor training, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
• Train and supervise instructors to ensure high-quality instruction and safety standards.
• Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to promote skating as a recreational activity.
• Oversee marketing and promotional activities to increase participation in the program.
• Assess program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports education or coaching.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ice skating techniques and safety protocols.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
