About the role
The Director of Learn to Skate Program oversees all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, instructor training, and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning programs for skaters of all ages and skill levels.
- Train and supervise instructors to ensure high-quality instruction and safety standards.
- Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to promote skating as a recreational activity.
- Oversee marketing and promotional activities to increase participation in the program.
- Assess program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports education or coaching.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
- Knowledge of ice skating techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
- $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
