About the role
Muckleshoot Casino Resort seeks a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of large-scale resort projects across all IT and Business environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project management, with a focus on aligning business requirements with project solutions.
Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Establish and evolve a formal IT PMO framework, including standardized processes, templates, and reporting metrics.
- Implement project portfolio management (PPM) tools to provide real-time visibility into project health, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Define "Definition of Done" and quality assurance gates to ensure high-standard delivery across all IT verticals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Gaming, Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, and Marketing, and all other Business Units to prioritize initiatives based on Regulatory requirements, business need, cost/value, ROI, and strategic impact.
- Work within established IT capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) budgets related to projects.
- Facilitate the intake process for new technology requests, researching new and/or existing technology solutions, conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale resort projects across all IT and Business environments.
- Serve as a high-level escalation point for project-related conflicts or resource constraints.
- Actively participate and act as backup Manager for an established IT Change Management process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and partners with departments to build detailed project plans, lead a multi-disciplinary team to meet project deadlines, and prepare professional and compelling communications.
- Collaborate with Finance and Strategic Sourcing teams to onboard new vendors, ensure financial discipline within budget constraints, and ensure effective cost management.
- Manage business requirements for all aspects of the project portfolio.
- Absess actual project performance standards and identify issues and risks to determine whether the project is on target, taking corrective measures as necessary.
- Supporting IT operations in meeting compliance and audit requirements from Muckleshoot Casino Resort, TGA, MGC, and WSGC, and all other relevant Regulatory requirements.
- Lead the project communication plan and facilitate the tracking and updating of the communication schedule.
- Lead user acceptance testing, identify key functionality gaps, and partner with IT support to prioritize requirements.
- This includes working with IT support to activate a remediation plan, if required.
- Aid in the production of benefit measurement analysis in line with a defined process to validate the impact of the solution and associated business process changes.
- Review, offer advice, and provide feedback on projects, including product and functional business plans.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor and control project scope, schedule, cost, and resource changes, evaluating impacts on business outcomes and adjusting plans accordingly.
- Communicate project decisions, deliverables, project health and status, and issues and risks with all team members and key stakeholders.
- Prepare timely status reports.
- Define and maintain project plans, including goals, deliverables, milestones, and work breakdown structures.
- Establish and manage project documentation and lifecycle methodology, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
- Ensure that the agreed-upon project success criteria are met.
- Manage the work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, including identifying and addressing resource gaps.
- Operate as a role model, providing coaching, direction, and training in project management to other IT team members.
- Contribute to and support the development of a program for continuous learning after deployment to constantly maintain and improve knowledge levels while delivering value to the business.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s business processes and systems.
- Seek new ways to improve activities that produce a benefit to the guest (external or internal).

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or PMO Director capacity.
- Five (5) years of previous experience in the Gaming and Hospitality sector is highly preferred.
- Understanding of the unique requirements of 24/7 resort environments and high-volume transaction systems.
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMT) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred. Agile/Scrum or ITIL certifications are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with PPM software preferred: MS Project, ITSM, MS Teams, SharePoint, O365, Workflow and Process Design software, Governance and Risk management tools.

Pay
Competitive salary starting at $171,838.40 - DOE with discretionary performance bonuses.
