Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for IT/OT integration aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define and govern a future state architecture and roadmaps that leverage smart manufacturing design principles.
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of MES, OT and Quality platforms.
- Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure and meet the needs of the manufacturing operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within manufacturing and quality operations.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Ensure all MES and Quality systems comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, validation protocols, and user manuals.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of MES, Field Ops, OT and Quality professionals.
- Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, Tech & Data, and supply chain teams, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and consultants related to MES, Industrial and Quality platforms.
- Develop and manage the budget associated with IT/OT operations.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in MES and Quality systems or OT implementation and management.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), OT technologies and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Preferred Skills
- Project management and agile familiarity.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
