Director of IT Infrastructure - Hosting

About the Role

Shape the technology behind Uline’s continued growth. As Director of IT Infrastructure, you will define the long-term strategy for the hosting systems and platforms that power our business, lead major modernization initiatives, and influence enterprise-wide technology decisions. From scaling critical systems to advancing AI infrastructure, you will shape Uline’s technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead Uline’s long-term hosting and infrastructure strategy, aligning technology investments with business growth, security, and resiliency.
• Drive modernization across storage, virtualization, and container platforms while advancing Uline’s AI infrastructure strategy.
• Guide technology architecture, standards, and lifecycle planning to improve performance and manage risk.
• Partner with senior IT and business leaders on technology roadmaps, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to optimize technology investments.
• Develop leaders and technical teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure or hosting services, including leadership of managers and technical teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise hosting technologies, including Windows, Linux, storage, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Proven success leading large-scale infrastructure modernization and technology transformation initiatives.
