Responsibilities
- Drive the Executive Voice & Vision: Craft a forward-looking editorial calendar and author high-impact content—from fiery town halls to crisp video scripts—that authentically translates the CEO’s narrative across the entire organization.
- Architect System-wide Strategy: Act as a core thought partner to executive leadership, forging a unified internal narrative that connects organizational priorities to daily associate work while embodying Ascension’s mission, vision, and values.
- Build High-Speed Operations & Culture: Design agile workflows and communications infrastructure from the ground up while directly leading, coaching, and empowering a high-performing team to deliver quality at scale.
- Command Crisis & Emerging Issues: Spearhead real-time, high-stakes crisis response for local and national urgent events with 24/7 agility, protecting organizational trust when it matters most.
- Unify Cross-Functional Messaging: Partner seamlessly across internal teams, SMEs, and external PR to maintain rock-solid talking points and lockstep alignment with zero messaging gaps.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field strongly preferred
- Solid experience in internal or executive communications, with meaningful experience supporting C-suite
- Experience in healthcare or large, complex organizations

Pay
Salary range: $138,258.29 to $195,187.61 per year. Eligible for an annual bonus incentive.
