Director of Intensive Outpatient Programs

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adolescents at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Division of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ICAP) is overseen by the IOP-PHP Clinical Director. This position requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or Clinical Psychology, along with a minimum of six years of experience, including five in a lead/supervisory role. The ideal candidate must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (in California).

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in behavioral health program management, including supervision of clinical staff and management of clinical programs.
  • Knowledge of case management, utilization review, and discharge planning.
  • Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with health care professionals, management, and staff at all levels, and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, as well as related legislative, accreditation, licensing, and compliance environments.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills for dealing with patients, families, advocates, and other health care personnel, as well as subordinate staff.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices and empirically supported treatments for adolescents and families/caregivers.
  • Computer proficiency in all relevant information systems, applications, and analysis tools.

About the Division Director

The IOP-PHP Clinical Director reports directly to the ICAP Division Director.
