About the role
The Director of Information Technology serves as the Foundation's senior technology leader and trusted advisor on technology strategy, cybersecurity, enterprise risk, data governance, and responsible AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with organizational priorities
- Protect sensitive information and ensure cyber resilience
- Enable staff to leverage technology for improved collaboration, decision-making, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead enterprise technology initiatives
- Oversee infrastructure and vendor partnerships
- Champion change management
- Foster a culture where technology is secure, accessible, and a strategic business enabler
- Guide the implementation of artificial intelligence, establishing governance, identifying practical business applications, and ensuring responsible, ethical, and secure technology adoption
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity initiatives
- Managing enterprise technology risk
- Strengthening data governance
- Guiding digital transformation
- Helping organizations adopt new technologies through thoughtful change management
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
- Approximately ten years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least five years leading people and teams
