About the role
The Director of Information Technology & Cybersecurity is a senior executive responsible for providing strategic leadership, oversight, and governance of the Agency’s information technology and cybersecurity programs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position develops and implements long-term technology and cybersecurity strategies that align with organizational objectives, safeguard critical infrastructure and data assets, and support reliable, secure, and efficient business operations.
Responsibilities

- Safeguard critical infrastructure and data assets.
- Support reliable, secure, and efficient business operations.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technology and business goals.
- Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manages cybersecurity risks and ensures effective incident response plans are in place.
- Oversees the implementation and maintenance of enterprise systems and applications.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to IT staff and partners with other departments to enhance overall IT capabilities.
- Maintains a big-picture focus on organizational objectives, risk management, and technology strategy.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading complex IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on organizational needs.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT and cybersecurity.
- Experience in managing a team of IT professionals.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
