About the Role

The Director of Human Resources plans, directs, and coordinates the administrative human resources functions under the direct supervision of the Chief Human Resource Officer. This role serves as a link between management and employees, overseeing recruitment, strategic planning, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, from requisition approval through onboarding.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Present qualified candidates and provide hiring recommendations to management.
  • Extend employment offers and negotiate compensation within established guidelines.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, equal employment opportunity regulations, and company hiring policies.
  • Support onboarding activities to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and community recruitment events.
  • Continuously identify and implement best practices to improve recruitment efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed, advising department managers on company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Administer benefit programs and leave of absence.
  • Analyze wage and salary reports to determine competitive compensation plans and benefits, presenting findings to the CFO and CEO.
  • Meet regularly with the HR team to ensure HR tasks are completed.
  • Assist in all aspects of the credentialing process for providers and line staff as required by HRSA and FTCA guidelines.
  • Contribute to team efforts by assisting other departments as needed while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Work cooperatively with staff and outside sources to deliver a high level of service.
  • Exercise courtesy and respect for patients, family members, visitors, and coworkers, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
