About the role
The Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and operational leadership across all Human Resources functions. This role will also act as Organisational Digital Transformation Lead, driving the digital transformation of HR and employee-related systems and supporting broader digital transformation processes across the organisation.
This role combines strategic HR leadership with responsibility for the digitalisation and optimisation of core workforce processes, ensuring the organisation is equipped with modern, efficient, and data-informed systems to support high-quality service. The Director of HR plays a key role in developing and maintaining a positive organisational culture defined by Cork Simon’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across all HR functions.
- Lead the digital transformation of HR and employee-related systems.
- Support digital transformation processes across the organisation.
- Optimise core workforce processes to ensure modern, efficient, and data-informed systems.
- Develop and maintain a positive organisational culture aligned with Cork Simon’s mission and values.
- Oversee HR strategy, policy development, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Drive change management and innovation in HR practices.
