Rotorcraft Leasing Company (RLC) is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of our Human Resources function. This position is a key member of the leadership team and plays an integral role in supporting our employees and helping the Company achieve its business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR leadership and partner with executive management
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, and performance review programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead HR compliance efforts, including I-9 administration, personnel records, and regulatory reporting
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement
- Manage HR staff and foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and other departments to support a growing aviation organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- At least 5 years of HR leadership or management experience
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
- Experience supporting multi-state operations
- Experience in aviation, transportation, manufacturing, oil & gas, or another highly regulated industry
- Experience with HRIS systems, compensation administration, and benefits management
