Director of Human Resources

Rotorcraft Leasing Company (RLC) is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of our Human Resources function. This position is a key member of the leadership team and plays an integral role in supporting our employees and helping the Company achieve its business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR leadership and partner with executive management
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary matters
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, and performance review programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead HR compliance efforts, including I-9 administration, personnel records, and regulatory reporting
• Support leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement
• Manage HR staff and foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and other departments to support a growing aviation organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience
• At least 5 years of HR leadership or management experience
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
• Experience supporting multi-state operations
• Experience in aviation, transportation, manufacturing, oil & gas, or another highly regulated industry
• Experience with HRIS systems, compensation administration, and benefits management
