About the role

The Director of Human Resources will lead all human resources functions and play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talent Acquisition
• Administer payroll and HRIS using Paycom
• Oversee a team of 5 HR professionals handling recruiting, benefits administration, payroll, and related HR functions
• Design, implement, and maintain benefits and total rewards programs
• Ensure HR compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on performance, policy, and employee relations
• Lead process improvements and develop HR policies to support our growing teams
• Track HR metrics and provide insights to guide strategic decisions

Requirements

• Expert in Paycom — payroll, HRIS, reporting, and system administration
• Experience in running and reviewing background checks
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws, compliance, and best practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple HR functions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities independently
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to drive HR strategy while executing day-to-day operations in a fast-growing environment
