Responsibilities
- Serve as a supportive leader to a dedicated HR team, including the Compliance & Benefits Manager and Talent Acquisition Supervisor
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
- Foster employee engagement, accountability, and a positive company culture
- Oversee employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR best practices
- Standardize and optimize existing HR workflows across departments
- Build strong working relationships through thoughtful communication, trust, and collaboration
- Support recruiting strategies, evaluate complex background checks, and ensure hiring practices align with company standards and values
- Partner with the Business Manager to support payroll and billing processes
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, workers’ compensation claims, ACA/401k administration, and internal HR policies
- Provide timely, clear, and actionable HR guidance and updates to leadership and staff
Requirements
- 3+ years of HR leadership experience
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to own projects with clear executive support while collaborating closely with leadership and team members
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- SHRM certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing preferred
