Director of HR

About the role

We are seeking a Director of HR to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing and overseeing all HR functions, including benefits administration, performance management, HR compliance, Immigration, compensation benchmarking, on/off-boarding, and PTO management.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, have a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures, are comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, and have prior experience mentoring/managing people.

This position is on-site 5 days / week based out of our Chicago office.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years’ experience in an HR and/or People Operations
• Experience at a high growth Tech/SaaS company
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field
• Approachable, adaptable, resourceful and a strong communicator; comfortable communicating upward
• Experience presenting on complex cross-functional projects and processes driving results
• Experience with Google Drive/Apps, Microsoft Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), HRIS Systems (Ultipro/UKG a plus), and ATS systems (Lever)
• Experience implementing people programs including performance feedback, rewards & recognition, wage & hour compliance
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a deep sense of empathy and ability to communicate across diverse groups
• Proven track record handling confidential information with discretion
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred

Pay

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - 200,000 + bonus + benefits. This depends on experience and the location of where the job is performed.
