Director of Housing

About the Role

The Director of Housing oversees the operation of Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This position plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Assisted Living facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role ensures the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, as directed by the CEO and supported by the Regional team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a passion for working with seniors
• Exhibit effective communication skills and maintain attention to detail in care and services
• Maintain positive communication with residents, family members, and staff
• Manage staff meetings, trainings, and new hire orientations
• Implement and follow all Oak Park Place policies
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Manage conflicts and resolve complex problems
• Drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and performance metrics
• Work well independently and in a team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, long-term care, or healthcare
• 5 years of supervisory experience in a long-term or assisted living care setting (preferred)
