Responsibilities

• Ensures community adheres to all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding clinical care.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports on occurrence trends, and develops/implements improvement plans as needed.
• Partners with the Administrator and other team members to maintain resident and team member health and safety.
• Collaborates with the pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
• Provides clinical expertise and oversight for licensed nurses.
• Assists with educational presentations as assigned.
• Identifies and addresses ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment/Service Plan process.
• Maintains the resident’s service plan according to state regulations.
• Participates in community awareness activities and community relations.
• Schedules clinical staff on a monthly basis.
• Maintains adequate clinical supplies.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Supervises LPNs and CNAs to ensure consistent high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; Registered Nurse preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role; Senior Living experience preferred.
• BSL Certification.
